    Hello. This seems to be the start, so I guess introductions are in order. I am Peetu, an aspiring vfx artist and 3d animator...or something. I make weird videos and sounds on my computer. This is my media blog for the media channels and platforms course that I am currently participating in.

    I intend to use this space to share my thoughts and musings on movies, videos, music and games that I am currently exposing myself to. There is so much stuff out there, so much content, it's frightening. I've long wanted to be deliberate and selective in my consumption of media. To this end, I've managed to trim and curate my YouTube-subscriptions and twitter-feed to focus in on my actual interests (with a light sprinkling of nonsense to sugar the pill). 

    I will, in this space, attempt to cast an analytical eye on the various pieces media I consume. My hope is that my level of discernment and appreciation of it all improves, bit by bit. I'm done being merely entertained! I may develop a more specific theme to these posts over time, but that is not yet a certainty.

The harder you look, the more you see. 
Is that true? I don't know, but I kind of like the sound of it.

So, what's with the name? What are these invisible boxes?

    The totality of the elements and reasons that cause you to feel one way or another about an experience you have (like the experience of listening to a song or watching a movie) is in my mind not possible to fully articulate. The boxes inside you are being ticked to make you feel a certain way, but you can't see all the boxes.
